Mary E. Masse ("mem") is my name, but most people in the horse world call me Mary Beth.
I am a Documentation Manager/Sr. Technical Writer by profession (see resume), but
discovered a love for website development and digital photography several years ago. What started out as a hobby for my daughter's riding stable
blossomed by word-of-mouth into a small business.

I currently compete in horse shows around New England in the Modified Adult Equitation and Hunter
divisions, trained by Beverly Vars. In 2007, I was 7th at the MHJ finals and Reserve Champion at the RI Finals (I was pinned 3rd but was later moved up to 2nd...long story)
on the best partner I've ever been fortunate enough to ride, "Caper" who is owned by Lauren Casey.

I am the current Vice President of the Rhode Island Horseman's Association and I am in the
process of getting my New England judge's card. In 2008 I will be learner-judging at several recognized horse shows as well as judging as many non-rated
schooling shows as I can. I hope to judge NEHC-rated shows in the 2009 show season.

Besides working full-time, practicing and competing, working on websites, photographing horse shows and
other events, working on RIHA tasks and judging, I spend as much time as I can with my family. I have 4 children ranging in age from 6 to 16.
You can see lots of photos of them at my home website.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give me a call or send me an email.
