This is the first neighborhood that we saw that sustained damage.
Note the watermark on the garage of this house. The water was at that level for more than 2 and a half weeks.
One of the levees that breached...looks like a thin, cement wall and that was all it was.
The photos from this point are from the Ninth Ward. There are no watermarks because all of these houses were completely submerged. You can see the weeds on the roofs of the houses.
