memkoty photography specializes in hunter/jumper horse shows and other equestrian events, but we have also photographed weddings, sales horses, farms, children, dogs, students for senior photos, models for portfolios, flowers, baseball games and other sporting events...just about anything that can be shot outdoors!

Horse Shows ~ How does it work? we take shots at an event of every competitor we can (unless there are 2 or more rings running, then we will shoot only one ring) plus a bunch of candid shots. There is no need to ask us ahead of time, we try to get everybody. We will then post them to this website in approximately 1 week's time for you to review. You can then download the order form, fill it out and send it to us along with payment, or just email us directly with what you'd like. We will then either mail the prints to you or you can arrange to have us bring them to the next show. It's simple!

Private Sittings ~ We also offer private sittings at your home or stable to photograph whatever you'd like photographed. For a $50 sitting fee, you will get a 1-hour shoot, four 5x7 glossy prints, and a CD of all of the shots taken. Set up a gymnastic with an oxer at the end of it, put on your show clothes, and go through the gymnastic until we get just the shot you want. Pose with your horse or dog for that nice frame-able head shot. Get shots of your child or pet, get sales shots of your horses for your website or any type of classified ad or flyer. Take the CD to CVS or Wal-Mart to make prints (or purchase them from us at our regular prices) and give them out as gifts! There are many options available with a private sitting.

Weddings ~ Weddings are not something we set out to do, but we have done 4 weddings now and really enjoy doing them. Most wedding photographers ask for $800 and up, and sometimes charge additional fees for prints, or make you select only a certain number. We shoot as many photos as we can for one low fee of $350. We then provide a small website of what we consider to be the best shots for you to share with family and friends, an 8x10 and a few 5x7s and CDs of ALL of the shots. At one wedding, we took over 570 shots!! You can then get the ones you want printed inexpensively at CVS or Wal-Mart or other photo locations or have us print them at our regular prices. You can also use photo-enhancing computer applications to create black-and-white shots, crop them any way you'd like, etc. At this time we only shoot outdoor ceremonies and generally leave once the reception starts. We can take shots of the bride getting ready, and then as many posed shots of the bridal party and family as you want. We can also do engagement photos for the normal sitting fee price.
